The Independent Petroleum Association of New Mexico was formed in 1978 by a concerned group of New Mexico independent oil and natural gas producers. Since its start, IPANM continues to grow and provide the services that protect, defend and promote the industry that is the very foundation of our way of life. IPANM’s goals are to educate the public about the benefits provided by our industry; monitor industry issues on the state and national level and get involved when necessary; and provide its members technical education, networking opportunities as well as access to resources that provide up-to-date information on issues affecting the industry. www.ipanm.org

Founded in 1919, the Texas Oil & Gas Association (TXOGA) is the oldest and largest statewide trade association representing every facet of the Texas oil and gas industry including small independents and major producers. Collectively, the membership of TXOGA produces in excess of 90 percent of Texas’ crude oil and natural gas, operates over 80 percent of the state’s refining capacity, and is responsible for the vast majority of the state’s pipelines. The mission of TXOGA is to promote a robust oil and natural gas industry and to advocate for sound, science-based policies and free-market principles.
