Unfortunately due to the unprecedented situation we find ourselves in, we have made the decision to cancel Produced Water Society Permian Basin 2020 which was slated to take place August 5th & 6th at the Horseshoe Arena in Midland, Texas.
We are disappointed that we won’t be able to again present an excellent Permian Basin focused program for our members in and around Midland, but we are hopeful that our other events will be able to take place, and as always the 2021 Produced Water Society Seminar, which takes place in Houston each January, will include a focus on issues and opportunities in the Permian Basin.
The Permian Basin produces between 9 and 15 million barrels of water a day. As service providers and capital rush into the play to strike a deal, the volumes of produced water continue to grow, with forecasts anticipating 75% to 90% increases over the next 10 years. Truly innovative solutions will be required to maintain the oil and gas production levels the Permian enjoy at the moment. Without smart changes, the shale plays will drown in water.
Produced Water Society Permian Basin brings together industry leading speakers to address the issues facing operators, the solutions on the market and in the pipeline for improving produced water management, and the ways local expertise, national business interests, and international attention steer the most productive unconventional shale play in the world.
PWS Permian Basin is the only event of its kind to bring a breadth of produced water professionals together for a combination of technical presentations and problem solving, as well as networking opportunities and the potential to strike key business deals.
PWS Permian Basin is focused on bringing together professionals from all areas of the produced water industry, giving you the opportunity to explore new business opportunities, hear from a variety of perspectives, and meet clients, customers, suppliers, consultants and government officials who directly affect the work you do day to day.
